NEWS UPDATE
Positive momentum building up on ECSA Panamax/Kamsarmax market
ECSA Panamax/Kamsarmax rates have inched up as more cargoes for February and March laycans enter the market. TCT rates bss ECSA RV are hovering at $8-9k daily for spot laycans; an 82k dwt ship has been chartered at $14.25k daily + $425k bb bss dely ECSA redel China; the deal for shipment of 65,000 t of grains from Santos to China with March laycans is negotiated at low-mid $30s/t.
